The new concept of the entry fee: you choose as participants what you like to be part in and you pay for each element, ex. if you don’t go to pasta you don’t pay for pasta, if only do the race you pay for the race and so on.
You are welcome to invite family and friends to the dinners.

Pasta: 6€uro (Centro Deportivo Fariones) including water and beer.
Race entry fee individual: 120€uro.
Race entry fee relay: 200€uro – 2 or 3 persons can take part.
Awards evening: 35€ pr person, we will celebrate the athletes in Amura in Puerto Calero, one of best restaurants on the Lanzarote – Amura have been selected of the Michelin Restaurants Guide. 
Here will give the trophies and have a big party with live band to midnight.

Events welcome and spirit
All Participants will get a welcome pack including the start number for the body, bike and helmet, safety pins, race maps, swim cap, promotion material, transitions bags,   
All participants will receive the technical cool max Ocean Lava participant shirts.
All finishers will get the Ocean Lava Finisher medal.
Awards: overall top 5 – to top 3 in each age group – and to the winning teams.
There is live DJ on the bike course.
There are live bands on the run course.
The race will be serviced by the best volunteers.
All participants will get a first class event with our Lanzarote Triathlon Spirit.
Swim course information and details
Swim: The 1.9k swim takes place from Playa Grande in Puerto del Carmen and the swim is in clear, calm and open sea, there is a lots of small fish life to watch under the swim. Wetsuits are recommended the water temperature is 21C. There will be a aid station before and after the swim.

Bike: The bike course is the must challenging and beautiful possible on our Island. The cyclist will pas the wine area, ride to El Golfo to Los Hervideros where the lava was streaming out to the sea a created the must fantastic lava formations, the Salinas de Janubio, the climb to Las Breñas and to the highest and steepest point of the day with increase of up to 20% for few hundred metre,  Femes the old farming village which stands at 450m above sea level was once a place of refuge from pirates coming from the sea to held up and to rob farmers on the very poor island. From Femes we ride to The National Park Timanfaya 340 meter above the sea level and home by the small fire mountain and the wine are.
We will have 3 DJ on the highest points to animate the cyclist to give their best.
Total vertical climb is 1600 meter.
There will be 2 aid stations on the bike course.

Run: The run course is a 3 loop course 3.5k out and back.
The run course will have 5 locations with live bands or DJ performing under the run.
There will be 1 aid station on the half way in the run, so it will be passed 6 time apx, for each 3k.

Further information: This new event is an independent triathlon race, made by Triathletes for Triathletes and sports people who like to challenge themselves with a unique experience.

We are making this event on the classic traditional way with a fresh and new objective, with highest quality of services for athletes, families, friends, volunteers, our island and of course for our sponsors who all will get much more than only banners exposure.
The synonym in the sport of triathlon is that Lanzarote is the Toughest Ironman in the World, but it is much more, it is also the place where the population respect the cyclist and support the event as they are taking part in the sport themselves and they celebrate each athlete as the champion.

Ocean Lava as the perfect end to a season or preparation before the Ironman Hawaii or the perfect challenge for training for the event for next seasons Ironman.
