Bike 2.2 miles (6 lap’s short 9 lap’s medium 12 lap’s long distance triathlon)
Run 2.5km on grass (2 laps short 3 laps medium and 4 laps Olympic distance)

Short distance Sprint Triathlon
Swim 400m Bike 20km Run 5km
This Triathlon distance can be completed as an individual or as a team of 2 or three
(one swims one cycles & one runs)

Medium distance Triathlon
Swim 800m Bike 30km Run 7.5km
This Triathlon distance can be completed as an individual or as a team of 2 or three
(One swims one cycles & one runs)

Long distance (Olympic distance) Triathlon
Swim 1500m
Cycle 40km
Run 10km
This Triathlon distance can be completed as an individual or as a team of 2 or three

Course description
Swim
Open Water shallow lake
Large yellow buoys
Lake Temperature 64 degrees
Start by getting into water on pontoon
Exit – Pontoon & slope for ease of exit with helpers to help you out of the lake

Bike
Closed road 3 technical corners per lap
Undulating
Deer have right of way in the grounds of Woburn Abbey

Run off road hilly on cut grass

Transition area
100m from exit of the lake on grass
Overlooked by Woburn House

Mount Line
The place where you can get onto your bike
 The mount line is adjacent to

Kids Scoot-athlon and Kid’s Duathlon

10km running race
Ideal for those who do not swim or bike.
