Mark has competed in numerous multi discipline and endurance events in the UK and various countries around the World. Below are some of his achievements and personal bests over the last 23 years.
Triathlon
• Former British record holder Double Ironman Triathlon involving 5 mile swim, 224 mile cycle, 53 mile double marathon, continuous with out a break in under a day (23 hours 51 minutes).
• Completed Triple Ironman Championships: 7.2 mile swim, 336 mile cycle, 78 mile run, continuous without a break in 45 hours 48 minutes & 35 seconds.
• 33 Ironman Triathlon finishes including Hawaii -New Zealand- Switzerland- Austria -Germany-California- Canada- Malaysia- Florida- Lanzarote -Mexico- China.
• Ironman best 3 sub 10 hours- 17 sub 11 Hours - 3 sub 12 hours. 25th Switzerland - 58th California - 65th Malaysia. Sub 3:05 Ironman marathon.
• London Triathlon 3rd place overall behind Glen Cook who went onto place 2nd in first World Triathlon Championships
• Finished 3rd. in London to Paris Triathlon. Involving a team of 4 running non -stop to Dover, swimming the English Channel, and then cycling to Paris all in less than 3 days.
• In the morning winner overall in the Trentham Gardens Triathlon and then second overall in the Nuneaton Triathlon in the afternoon.

• Trentham Gardens Triathlon.
• Nuneaton Triathlon.
• Womborne Triathlon.
• Top 10 finisher in Grand Prix Triathlon events
• Member of Great Britain Elite Triathlon team.
• Represented GB on numerous occasions over the last 20 years up to 2003.
• Numerous top ten places in Triathlons.
• Competed in OVER 500 TRIATHLONS WORLDWIDE !!
• Numerous double up racing on the same day.
Duathlon
• Winner of the Ghoulie Grind Duathlon.
• Many other run bike run races.
Biathlon
• Winner of Hounslow Biathlon 800 meter swim 5km run
• 5th & 6th In Birmingham (Biathlon) Swim Run Duathlon I did it twice.
Running
• Finished 3rd. in the Noel Edmonds Christmas Day Show 'Race to the top of the Post Office Tower' 650 feet, 900 steps in less than 5 minutes.
• Completed over 90 marathons. Best time 2 hours 24 minutes at London Marathon position 112th.
• Ran from London to Brighton 56 miles in 6 hours 56 minutes.
• Ran in National 100km (62 miles) in 8 hours 17 minutes.
• Winner of numerous multi distance races.
Cycling
• Cycled non-stop for 12 hours covering 237 miles in distance.
• Cycled from John O'Groats to Lands End 874 miles in 5 days.
• Cycled National 100 miles Time Trial Championships in 4 hours 17 minutes.
Swimming
• Competed in the British Telecom Swim-athon 5000 meters (250 lengths) twice in same day. In the morning in 1 hour 28 minutes 12 seconds and in the evening 1 hour 28 minutes 49 seconds, a mere 37 seconds slower.
Various
• Completed 1000 push-ups in a charity event in 27 minutes 40 seconds.
• Finished 8th in a sprint Triathlon in the afternoon after placing 9th in the Luton marathon in the morning.
• In the morning winner overall in the Trentham Gardens Triathlon and then second overall in the Nuneaton Triathlon in the afternoon.
• Orienteering probably covered the most miles finished nearly last!!

Mark has competed in triathlons since 1983 and 30 consecutive seasons later he has crossed the finish line in more than 440+ Triathlons world wide. From the super sprint triathlon taking less than 60 minutes to a non stop triple ironman 45 hours 58 minutes and 29 gruelling seconds. No stopping no sleeping juts swimming 7.2 miles cycling 336 miles & running 78.6 miles.

Mark is one of the most experienced triathletes in the world based on the number of years and races he has fiinished.
