London 2012 Olympic Games ticket application information 

Applications for tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games will open on Tuesday 15 March 2011 & will remain open for 6 weeks closing at 11:59 on Tuesday 26th April 2011.
If you wish to get tickets you have the best chance this way, so think about what and where you want to watch before submitting your application.

No need to submit on the first day because of the huge demand its not first come first serve you have until mid day on Tuesday 26th.
 
Important things to think about when thinking of making ticket requests.

When making your application
1 - Once you decide what sessions you want to apply for, choose a seat price rather than a seat or area.

2 – Enter price range you wish to pay –low to highest price you wish to pay for the Olympic Games ticket. This will increase your chances of getting tickets because the demand is likely to be for the better seats.

3 – There will be Wheel chair access & a companion seats available plus anyone with accessibility needs will also be able to apply for these seats. You will need to mention this on your application.

4 – The only web site to sell London 2012 Olympic or Paralympics Games tickets will be via official site
www.tickets.london2012.com or through the official London 2012 ticketing guide and application form which will be available on your high street from 15 March.

Hospitality and travel packages will also be available via Thomas Cook, Prestige Ticketing and Jet Set Sports from 15 March.

The Paralympics games tickets will open on Friday 9th September 2011.

Visa (credit card) is the official London 2012 sponsor and have been an Olympic Games sponsor since 1986.

They have also sponsored the Paralympics Games since 2002.

Visa is therefore the only form of payment (credit, debit & pre-paid) when you apply for tickets on-line.

If you don’t have a Visa Credit card then contact your bank who will advise & help you obtain a Visa card
