Triathlete in gun machine attack
Last years formula one world champion driver Jenson Button sped away from a machine gun attack in Brazil on 6th November 2010.

He was stationary at traffic lights in a car on a busy road passing thru a shanty town when 4 or 5 men brandishing guns and a machine gun approchaed the car.

Driving the car was a Brazilian policeman who sped away, other cars were damaged as the driver raced away to escape the mayhem.

Also in the car with Jesnon Button his father John manager Richard Goddard and physiotherapist Mike Collier who were all going from the race track to his hotel.

Previously Formula One teams have been mugged leaving the Brazilian race track ithe day before and now no longer wear their team kit when they leave the race track.
