Check list to improve fitness


CHECK LIST
It only takes 20 seconds to make a checklist of the things you need to concentrate on in training but this short amount of time can make all the difference.
1. Physical factors - Like your ability to keep going all day.
 
2. Psychological factor – Are you able to unwind from work before your race, do you perform better on a Sunday 2 days after stopping work or do you race better day after working. This all depends on how stressful and physical your work is and how you deal with it?
 
3. Energy factor –Is your nutrition intake good all the time? Your requirements will change over time so you need to have variety in your foods to get the most out of your training.
 
4. Recovery – Do you give yourself enough or too much recovery before a race? Do you take time out for a few minutes before the start to focus?

5. Race – Can you honestly say you train specifically for a particular terrain and course? If not you are probably not achieving your potential in your “A” race.
