BRUISING. WHAT IS IT?
The release of blood forms the capillaries into the tissues under the skin.
More commonly seen after injury but can be from an allergic reaction or disease.
 
Colour can vary from red, bluish -black to yellow and should fade over time.
RECOVERY FOODS
You can speed up the recovery from bruising by having foods that contain anti-inflammatory properties.Bioflavonoid are Anti-inflammatory and foods to eat include Broccoli, Cabbage, Green peppers and Lemons. Best to have these foods raw rather than microwave or cooked. Include extra vitamin C for best results.
Parsley (Herb) can shrink small blood vessels.
Has been rubbed into area regularly to clear up bruising marks. Arnica has been used for many years for bruises and sprains.
